What is a block?
To add blocks to your site, click Add Content and select a drawer (category). Once you find a block you like, simply use your mouse to drag and drop it onto your page.
To dismiss a block drawer, click the x in the upper-right.
Block Customization & Settings
Once your block is in place, you can begin customizing it. Click the placeholder text to add your own and double-click default images to edit and change to a different image.
Some blocks contain elements that can be hidden by hovering on them and clicking the X that appears.
Hidden items are restored from your Settings (gear button).
Click the settings gear to restore hidden items, change block color or add a block name.
Available block colors are based on the theme default, but you can also add an additional custom color.
"Block name" is useful for creating anchored links to your page.
"Duplicate Block to" allows you to re-use the current on the same page on another page of your site.
You can also change the order of your blocks by clicking the up/down arrows near Settings, and delete a block by clicking the trash icon.
Adjust the height of a block by hovering on a corner and dragging the handle up or down.
The Website Builder
In addition to the Add Content menu are the Edit Theme and Edit Pages menus.
Click Edit Theme to change your website header and footer, choose a color set, fonts and more. More . . .
Just under Edit Pages are the Publish and Preview buttons. More . . .
At the top of the Builder is the saved status which you can click to manually save your progress, and the page navigator which lets you toggle between pages during editing.
At the very top-left of the Builder is the Vistaprint logo. Click it anytime to return to your Service dashboard to manage your digital products, check site activity, access site settings and check form messages.
