NOTE: This product may still appear in your dashboard by its previous name, "Local Listings."
Search Engine Listing Manager will get your business listed in multiple directories, including Google, Bing, AOL, Yahoo!, Yelp and Yellow Pages, all once by filling out one form.
To get started select My Local Listings from the "My Services" from the left column of Vistaprint.com.
This will bring you to the Search Engine Listing Manager dashboard, where you can
- enter the name of your business*
- add your business tagline
- upload your logo
- indicate if you want to share or hide your physical address
- add your business's physical address (if your business is not brick-and-mortar you must still enter a city, state and zip code)*, telephone number*, email address and website URL
- select hours/days of operation
Once you have filled in all required fills (indicated by an asterisk *) click Submit Business Information at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: Be sure to enter your information precisely. Since it will be listed in multiple directories, you want to ensure that it is as accurate as possible. Your information will be validated before submission. You may receive a call from from Express Update at the number you listed in order to verify that your information was correctly added to their system.
Your information will be submitted to a variety of directories at once, along with a progress bar. This screen will also check for errors.
Now you will be asked to set up your Google My Business profile.
Once submission is complete, your Search Engine Listing Manager page will be the default page. It includes your standard information along with a map. Below your standard business information, you can view the status of your submissions. Some submissions are instant. Others, depending on the type of directory and their validation processes, can take up to 30 days.
A green checkmark means the directory has accepted your submission and a blue clock means you are still being verified. For some services you may have to perform additional tasks such as setting up a profile/account. These services are indicated by a Setup button.
Google My Business
To set up or add your Google Business profile, go to your dashboard and click Create. Choose an existing Google account or Create a new one.
In order to publish Google Business Profile customer must choose one of the methods to receive his verification code pin:
- Call me
- Text Me
- Send Me postcard
When you receive the verification code, go to your dashboard and click Enter Pin for Google My Business under your pending directory submissions.
Type in the verification code (pin code) received by call, text message or postcard and click Submit Pin.
